When the Proper brand was devised, the idea was simple. Host events in only premiere venues, who focus mainly on Proper sounds; as in Proper club music - not cheesy radio crap and Proper style - meaning that invitees would be fashionable, hand picked and most of all, the events would be exclusive to these guests.

This Thursday, the Proper crew gears up for yet another sell-out night at SF’s favourite boutique lounge Vessel. After making a name for itself with packed Thursdays featuring the likes of Axwell, Nic Fanciulli, Justin Martin, Ted Patterson and a collaborative effort with Frenchy le Freak at Ruby Skye, we’re bringing you Grammy Award nominee – Andy Caldwell!

Known for warm, soul-stirring tones, Chicago's pulsating jazzy-house bounce and Detroit's gritty and futuristic techno-funk; with releases on esteemed labels such as Om, Naked, Yoshitoshi, Andy is a globetrotting superstar who will be making a special appearance at his hometown.
