AsIs' was recently a finalist in legendary turntableist DJ Q-Bert's annual DJ Competiton where he battled another turnatable legend SwifRoc and brought the house down with his amazing scratches, juggles and tweaks. He is currently touring with popular MMA' clothing line --Sinister Brand Clothing and UFC.

As-Is(real name Benjie Ross) got his start in the dj world with an interest in turntablism and battling. for his formative dj years he spent his time working on scratching and beat-juggling routines, and tried to emulate the DJ's he watched on the DMC and ITF battle videos.

So it should come as no surprise that as a club/party DJ he looks for any oppurtunity to put his hands on a moving record, and remind the crowd through that unmistakable "wiki-wiki" sound that there is a live person playin this music for you.

It's very easy to forget that fact in these days of digital DJ'ing and DJ friendly edits.
