Born and raised in the Bay Area Mario comes from a family of music lovers and vinyl collectors. Learning to play the drums at a very young age, he gained lots of knowledge of beats, counts, and timing. Spinning house music came naturally, and he got the hang of it quite fast. He is a businessman who believes exposing the world to all that the San Francisco Bay Area movement has to offer. Hailing from Oran-El-Bahia in Northern Africa, Pheeko Dubfunk caught the muse of music at an early age. It was the works of Aretha Franklin, Delegation, Alexander O'Neal that filled the ears a budding DJ with funk, reggae and R&B. Living in culturally diverse Paris and visiting European club cities allowed young DJ an opportunity to become well versed at playing music ranging from house to reggae. At his first US home in West Palm Beach and Miami, Pheeko was further exposed to house music and became a resident DJ at Club Bliss. He also graced the decks at Florida's hottest destination in South Beach Miami. After moving to San Francisco, Pheeko further had the chance to showcase his trademark silky smooth, dub filled funky house that was popular at the time. He quickly acquired coveted residencies at clubs like Ruby Skye, Fluid, 1015 and Harlot as well as respected promoters such as Release (Martel & Nabiel), Mixed Elements, Spundae and Remedy.

Born in Manila, Philippines, Martin was one of those few people who would frequent the bars/clubs to listen to good music, until one day, he was inspired by local talents on how the crowd responded to them, in the correlation of DJs and their music. It was after this collective experience that Martin decided to contribute to the scene. He eventually bought his own equipment and practiced at home and alone. In 2000, at the tender age of 16, Martin landed a residency at C2 (a quaint lounge/bar in Makati, Philippines where dance music lovers convened for underground parties). After 6 months of residency, Martin started guesting in other bars/clubs. His gigs also included Seveneightorange's(Having hosted world-renowned DJs such as Steve Lawler, Ferry Corsten, Mauricio Aviles, and Gabriel Rene, Seveneightorange will always be remembered and loved by the true clubbers as their haven) Friday Groovilicious nights, under the wing of CHIP dela Calzada.
